About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to join our team for a thesis or internship focused on applying machine learning to improve the performance and reliability of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This project offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience applying ML techniques in the renewable energy sector using advanced data analytics.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze datasets related to battery energy storage systems and their components.
- Develop and train machine learning models to optimize system performance and predict potential issues.
- Validate the models using a variety of data sources and ensure their effectiveness in real-world applications.
- Document the process and present results in a final report or thesis.
Your Profile
- Enrolled in a master’s program in computer science, data science, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and statistics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
- interested in an employment for more than 4 months, starting between January 2025 and April 2025
